Song: I'm No Angel
I'm No Angel was the title song for blonde bombshell Mae West's second film. Harvey Brooks, Gladys DuBois and Ben Ellison wrote the song especially for West. Cast as a carnival dancer in a sideshow act, West's raucous performance of I'm No Angel was one of her most memorable. I'm No Angel was shot in 1933 for Paramount and also featured superstar Cary Grant. I'm No Angel is available on several popular Mae West compilations and also can be heard on the VHS and DVD releases of the film.
