Song: Marshmallow World, A

Written by Peter De Rose, Carl Sigman

This Christmas classic was introduced in 1951 by Bing Crosby and his warm, familiar voice, who took the tune to No. 24 that January. In 1964, teen pop star Brenda Lee, with her unique vocal style and youthful approach recorded a finger snappin’ version of the song. In 1966 Dean Martin released A MARSHMALLOW WORLD on "The Dean Martin Christmas Album." The song became a staple of the Dean Martin Christmas TV show through the years. On December 21, 1967, fellow Rat Pack member Frank Sinatra joined Dean Martin on The Dean Martin Christmas Show for a memorable, jovial, duet version which was released for the first time on the 2002 release, "Christmas With the Rat Pack" on Capitol Records.
