Song: My Regular Gal

Written by Bud Green, Harry Warren

MY REGULAR GAL was introduced by bandleader Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians during one of their popular tours in the late 1920s. Waring's Pennsylvanians recorded the song for RCA Victor in New York City on December 9, 1929, and it quickly became a national sensation. Lyricist Bud Green, who composed many hit songs for Shapiro Bernstein (including "Alabamy Bound," "I'll Always Be In Love With You" and "That's My Weakness Now"), wrote this love song with composer Harry Warren. Jazz group Back Bay Ramblers also recorded My Regular Gal in 1994.
